Business Stimulus Fund
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) or Stimulus Plan was signed into effect by President Barack Obama on February 17, 2009. The objective of the plan is to increase the economy throughout the U.S. by providing jobs to businesses.
In September of 2009 the New Jersey Forest Service’s Community Forestry Program was informed that they were to receive ARRA funding which would be divided across the state of New Jersey to all eligible municipalities and counties.
