The 2007 SPIRIT of the JERSEYS State History Fair Art Contest was a great success. Thank you to all the dedicated teachers who worked with their students to create masterpieces featuring our state’s historic treasures. State Historic Sites from the top of High Point to the tip of Cape May were represented. Artwork included paintings, colored pencils, oil pastels, photographs and sculptures.
We received entries from across New Jersey. A first, second and third place winner was selected from each age group and several students were cited for honorable mention. Prizes and certificates were awarded at a ceremony during the SPIRIT of the JERSEYS Fair on May 5, 2007 at Washington Crossing State Park.
