To All Exhibitors:

We are pleased you are joining us for the SPIRIT of the JERSEYS State History Fair. The Fair will be held rain or shine from 11 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Washington Crossing State Park in Titusville, New Jersey.

All Exhibitor Information will be posted on this web page.  Individual information packets will not be mailed this year. As the contact person for your organization, please share this information with other members of your group who will be participating.

Parking Passes

Parking passes will be distributed at the Registration Booth on the day of the Fair.   For Directions to the Park click here.  For a Park map and brochures click here.

Arrival & Set-Up

All exhibitors should enter the Park at the main entrance gate on County Route 546 and follow signs to the Visitor Center where the Registration Tent will be located.  Exhibitors should remain in their vehicles with their parking passes visible through the driver’s side windshield. Once you are checked in, you will receive your venue location and be permitted to drop off your things near your program location, but you must then move your car to the area set aside for exhibitor parking. Exhibitor parking will be located in the lot near the maintenance shop (please refer to the park map).

You may set up anytime after the Park opens at 7:00 am, but we ask that you complete your set-up by 10:15 am. Tables, chairs, and tents* are not provided. You might consider bringing paperweights or a similar item to maintain your display table in the event of windy weather.

Please do not break down before 5:00 PM. Everyone must vacate the Park by 7:00 PM.  If you need to set up the day before or break down the day after the event, you must have written permission from Dave Donnelly, Superintendent, Washington Crossing State Park.  Superintendent Donnelly can be contacted at (609) 737-0616.

Remember to sign in at the Registration Tent near the Visitor Center Museum upon arrival.

Hospitality Area

We will be providing a small hospitality area for all exhibitors in Apartment A. This is a non-public area with one small bathroom, rooms for changing, a table with chairs and a refrigerator and a microwave. Due to budget constraints, we are unable to provide morning refreshments this year. However, drinking water and cups will be available. You are welcome to leave things here, such as coolers, but the building will not be locked or otherwise secured.  Groups and individuals are encouraged to wear authentic period clothing that is appropriate to the time period that they represent.

Reception

The Post-Fair Reception has always been our way of saying thank you for your time, participation and assistance with the Fair.  Regrettably, we cannot host a reception this year due to budgetary constraints.  Please know, however, that we greatly appreciate your participation and assistance in showcasing NJ’s history to the thousands of visitors who attend the Fair each year.

Inquiries

If you have any questions, please contact Mark Sirak, State History Fair Logistics/Operations Chair, Washington Crossing State Park, (609) 737-9303 or email msirak-wcsp@att.net.

Thank you.  We look forward to seeing you at the Fair!

*Those individuals/organizations participating in the Author’s Tent or Quilt Appraisal & Quilting Bee will be under a tent.
