New Jersey's state parks and forests are open and awaiting your arrival! Please remember to Mask Up! when entering park offices, bathrooms and other buildings.
Restrooms are open to the public and are cleaned frequently.
Park offices have begun to reopen their doors to the public. Please call ahead to ensure the park office you plan on visiting is open.
Masks are required to enter all open buildings.
The interior of nature centers and historic sites remain closed to the public at this time. Select nature centers and historic sites will begin reopening this summer.
The State Park Service has continuously phased in camping operation since June of 2020.
At this time reservations are being accepted for family tent and trailer campsites, group campsites, primitive campsites, RV sites, cabins, shelters, lean-tos and wilderness campsites.
Reservations can be made by visiting camping.nj.gov.
The State Park Service has been upgrading a number of facilities which remain closed at this time, unrelated to COVID-19. We look forward reopening these improved overnight facilities soon.
Programming has resumed throughout New Jersey's state parks and forests.
Most programming is conducted outdoors.
Social distancing is required when attending all programs. Masks are required for indoor programs.
